Saint-Tropez is equal parts sleepy fishing village and full-glamour beach club — the trick is doing

BEACH CLUBS & THE OLD TOWN
PAMPELONNE BEACH
Club 55 for lunch is the institution; book a bed for the afternoon and stay
through sunset.
PLACE DES LICES MARKET
Tuesday and Saturday mornings — linen, baskets, and the best
picnic supplies.
THE CITADEL WALK
Climb up before it gets hot; the view over the terracotta roofs and the bay
is the postcard.
